Birth Anniversary of Shri Atal bihari vajpayee

On 25th December every year India celebrates the birth anniversary of Shri Atal bihari vajpayee.
He was born on 25th December 1924 in Gwalior.

India is celebrating the 99th birth anniversary of the legendary leader.
He was a renowned poet and writer. He wrote many heart touching poems.
He was the co-founder and one of the senior leaders of the BJP(Bhartiya Janta Party).
He was the first Prime minister elected from the non-INC(Indian National Congress)party.
He was elected thrice as PM.
For 13 days in 1996
For 13 months from 1998 to 1999 and then a full term from 1999 to 2004.
Not only that he also worked as Minister of external affairs during the period of Morarji Desai in the year 1977.
Shri Atal bihari vajpayee has taken many bold and brave decisions during his period as prime minister. Out of which Pokhran II nuclear test was on the top. The Kargil war also happened during his period only in the year 1999. He tried hard towards restoration of relations between India and Pakistan.
In 2015, he was conferred with Bharat Ratna by the then President of India sh. Pranab Mukharjee.
In 2014, Shri Narendra Modi, honorable Prime minister of India declared his birthday anniversary as Good Governance Day.
Since then India Celebrates Good Governance Day every year with great pomp and show.
Many activities and seminars are being organised by the institution to create awareness and importance of the day.
Shri Atal bihari vajpayee died in 2018.
