National Unity day is also known as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas in hindi. It is celebrated on 31st October every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who played a pivotal role in India’s political integration.
The government of India has started to celebrate National Unity day since 2014.
