Munshi Premchand was born on 31st July 1880 in Lamhi, Varanasi in a poor family. His mother name was Anandi devi and father’s name was Munshi Aazayab Rai. His father was post master in the village of Lamahi, Varanasi. Premchand’s childhood education was started in the village only. He studied in the Parshi language there. His parents were died when premchand was very young. He got married in the age of fifteen.
Premchand’s full name was Dhanpatrai Srivastava. He was the famous writer and renowned for his famous novels, stories and several other writings. He has written many stories and novels in various languages like Hindi, Urdu, Parasi etc.
